This is dianna marie hester (our favorite granddaughter)

Dianna Marie was born in Denver, Colorado, September 14, 2004. Dianna's first name is a tribute to Dianne Schroer, Barb's older sister who died at 5 years old. Her middle name Marie is in tribute to her great grandmother, Fern Marie Katherine Schroer.

Dianna and her famiy now live in Cincinnati, Ohio... much too far away from Gering, Nebraska. Nana and Pompa were pleased to be present for Dianna's birth and we are pleased for every opportunity enjoy her.

We must say, however, that she can challenge us with her energy and determination. Dianna runs, laughs and plays, seemingly non-stop. We keep in touch with video-cam conversations, but after a few minutes, she is on the move, round and round, up and down.

At the same time, when Dianna focuses, she is intense. Dianna has a marvelous imagination. When she watches movies, she lives the movies... taking on the characters and living the show day after day. The picture to the left is Dianna's "Dorothy" incarnation from WIZARD OF OZ. Notice Toto and the Ruby Slippers. Another of her alter-egos has been Cinderella. Whomever she claims to be, she remains our lovely Dianna.
